Have a GRAIN Holiday: Crunchy Cappuccino Bars!




Add some whole wheat to your diet with these Crunchy Cappuccino Bars that use Hodgson Mill whole wheat flour! These bars will be a perfect addition to your Thanksgiving cookie platter!


Crunchy Cappuccino Bars



•1 cup Hodgson Mill Whole Wheat Flour, sifted

3/4 cups white flour, sifted

•1 tsp baking soda

•1 tsp salt

•1/2 tsp cinnamon

•1 cup butter, soft

•1 1/2 cups brown sugar, packed

•1/2 cup sugar

•2 eggs

•3 tsp instant coffee, dissolved in 1 3/4 tbsp hot water

•1 tsp vanilla

•1 cup white chocolate chips

•3/4 cups toffee bits

•3/4 cup cookie dough candy pieces, optional


Preheat oven to 350*.
Line 13x9 baking dish with non-stick foil.

Combine flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside.
Beat butter and sugars with mixer, until fluffy.
Add eggs and beat well.

Add coffee mixture and vanilla.
Add chips, bits and candies.

Pour into prepared pan.
Bake for 25-35 minutes. Check first at 25 minutes and bake in 3 minute increments until baked through.
